Before Samuel came over today I reminded Cameron that he might get teased that nail polish is for girls. He thrust his hands at me and demanded, “Take it off!”

… but he still has red toenails.

I’d give him the choice. Tell him that there is a good chance the other kids will tease him about it because nail polish is for girls. If he’s OK with that, leave it on. If he wants it off, take it off.

awwwwww. GET PICS before the nail polish comes off and hide them in a safe, safe place!

I wonder… I’d like to think I won’t, but I think my first reaction to any son of mine requesting red nail polish would be a firm “no, this is for girls and you are not a girl.” =P

I think a good character trait is showing gratitude to people who help you. Whether it’s a kind wave when someone lets you cut in front of them while driving or making sure you share the credit on the big project at work with everyone that helped, gratitude goes a long way to making us more civilized!
